Participating in swimming training throughout the pre-teen and teenage years gives students something to be passionate about, a place to create a community of long lasting friendships, build leadership skills and transition into water responsible adults.
Survival Benchmark
At the end of Advanced, students will have an increased chance of survival in open waters and high level of knowledge on water safety. They will be able to continuously swim for long distances and long periods of time, using the three main survival strokes along with a complete and comprehensive set of water survival techniques. They would also be more competent to assist another person in trouble with their strong stamina and swimming skills.
Recreational Benchmark
Swimmers could join competitive swimming clubs or other water based sports. They will have the pre-requisite skills to begin learning to swim in open water environments. They will also be more likely to enjoy and be safer doing open water activities such as surfing, jet skiing, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and heaps more! At the end of their formal swimming education they are more likely to access employment opportunities as a swimming instructor or lifeguard.
Testimonials

We have loved being a part of Paddles for 12 years with all three of my children being here. It is an amazing environment, very friendly with dedicated and caring staff who are very experienced. My children have learnt so much from swimming lessons at Paddles and my oldest children are now regular competitive swimmers. I highly recommend Paddles Swim School.

Paddles taught our daughter to swim and then built her confidence and technique up in squad over the past 16 years. They have always been family oriented, professional and caring in the way they operate. They go from strength to strength and we would have no hesitation recommending Paddles Swim School.

We have been sending our three girls to paddles since 2009. We've enjoyed watching them learn, progress and now be proficient in their swimming abilities. Our two older girls progressed to squad in 2012. Our youngest one has achieved the Dolphin certificate and will no doubt be completing all her certificates here at Paddles. We would recommend Paddles to anyone looking for a swim school.
